Roy Daniel Hanks

FARMINGTON Roy Daniel Hanks, of Farmington, passed away suddenly at his home on August 29, 2023, at the age of 72. He was born on April 3, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Arthur Hanks and Wilma (Smith) McMeans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Tim Tabor, and Kenny (the late Michelle) Tabor, his sisters, Pam Hanks and Sarah Shouppe, and his brothers, Tim Hanks, and Orland McMeans. Roy is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Glenda (Cornman) Hanks, his sons, Kevin (Kathy) Tabor of Festus and TJ (Brandi) Tabor of Farmington, ten grandchildren, Tracy, Justin, Cory, Sarah, Michael, Kyle, Chase, Krisandra, Jessica, and Joshua, 23 great grandchildren, his siblings, Virginia Sullinger of Little AR, Robert (Mary) Hanks of Paragould, AR, Nancy Speight of Paragould, AR, and Ruth Johnson of Paragould, AR, his aunt, Nancy Johnson, Arnold, MO, his daughter-in-law, Theresa Tabor of Farmington, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Roy was employed as a mechanic for many years and after retiring, he enjoyed working on the cars of his friends and family. He also enjoyed hunting. Roy will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel.
