Rosemary White

FARMINGTON Rosemary White, of Farmington, entered eternal rest on March 18, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 87. She was born on November 7, 1936, in Knob Lick, Missouri, to Charles W. and Hazel I. (Clark) Hurst. Rosemary is survived by her children, Janice Wooldridge of Farmington and Steven (Mindy) Wooldridge of Farmington, her grandchildren, Eric (Becca) Wooldridge, Randie Jo (Spencer) Smalley, Colton (Courtney) Wooldridge, and Kaylee Wooldridge, her great grandchildren, Daxton Wooldridge, Felix Wooldridge, Pryor Ray Smalley, and Penelope Jane Wooldridge, her sisters, Beatrice Moran of Knob Lick, Frieda Cook of Farmington, Irene White of Farmington, and Donna Comstock of Farmington, her sisters-in-law, Viola Hurst of Farmington and Ruby Hurst of Blodgett, her special longtime companion, Don Cartee, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James R. White, and her siblings, Paul Hurst, Harry Hurst, John Hurst, Donald Hurst, Carl Hurst, Roy Hurst, and Sharon Hurst. Rosemary retired after working for 42 years as a storekeeper at the Farmington Correctional Center and the Southeast Missouri Department of Mental Health. She enjoyed going to the casinos and auctions but mostly loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
