Rosana "Rose" C. Robert, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024, at the age of 95 in Farmington, MO. Born on April 12, 1929, in Leachville, AR, to the late James and Lucille (Williamson) Cleveland.
Rose was the beloved wife of the late Fred J. Robert. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Kathryn Porter, Rachel Burroughs, and Charlie Cleveland, as well as her son-in-law, Tom Mouser. Her memory will be treasured and kept alive by her devoted daughter, Diane Mouser of Park Hills, her adoring grandson, Chris Mouser and his wife, Amanda, and her cherished great-grandchildren, Jacob and Ryleigh Mouser.
For many years, Rose dedicated her professional life to the banking industry, where she served as a secretary and teller. Rose's involvement with her community was a testament to her generous spirit. She was an active volunteer at Presbyterian Manor, Meals on Wheels, the Unitec Career Center and the SEMO Mental Health Center Helping Hands Program, where she made a significant impact on the lives of many.
A faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington, Rose's spiritual life was a cornerstone of her existence. Her faith was reflected in her actions and the kindness she extended to others. She was an exceptional seamstress, creating beautiful garments for her daughter, Diane, throughout her childhood. Her artistic talents extended beyond the sewing machine, as she was also an amazing artist whose paintings brought joy to her family and friends.
Rose loved playing cards with her grandson. She was very humble but also had a wonderful sense of humor. Those close to her were aware of her quick wit and the smiles she could effortlessly evoke. Rose enjoyed cooking for family meals, a tradition that brought her loved ones together and created lasting memories.
As we bid farewell to Rosana "Rose" C. Robert, we celebrate a life well-lived and a woman well-loved. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Interment will be private at Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Fred.
