Ronald Herbert Eaves

FARMINGTON Ronald Herbert Eaves, 78, of Farmington entered into eternal rest on December 20, 2021, at Mercy Hospital South in South County. He was born May 5, 1943, in Barnhart, MO, the son of the late Herbert and Emilie (Schmidt) Eaves. Ronald served his country in the Air Force from 1961-1965. Ronald will be remembered as a creative man that could fix nearly anything. He had a passion for his horses and his mules, loved his dogs, hunting, farming, cutting firewood, causing trouble, and telling stories in the presence of friends and family. He was always quick to help others and could always find a way to fix something. He was a carpenter for 30 years and finished his career as the maintenance director for the Herculaneum School District. He is survived by his fiance, Suzanne Budsick, two daughters, Kathy Williams (Wayne Johnson) and Christine (Dwight) Kraus, a sister, Evelyn (David) John, three grandchildren, Ron Williams, Meagan (Octavius) Knox and Abraham Kraus, three great grandchildren, Reanna Vecera, Hayden Vecera, and Bailey Knox, and two nephews, Jeffrey and Jason John and their families. Ronald was preceded in death by a brother Richard and two grandsons, Ryan Vecera and Noah Kraus. Ronald will be missed by many friends and family. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022, from 10:00 am until the time of a brief service at 11:00 a.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. A private graveside service will follow.
