Roger Gore

Roger Dale Gore of Doe Run passed away March 27, 2008, at his residence at the age of 57 years. He was born May 3, 1950, at New Offenburg, son of the late Sammie Ray Gore and Edna Bernice Stroup. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Lindell, Donald, and Henry Gore. Before recently moving back to Missouri, he had lived at Indian Rocks Beach, FL, where he worked as an electrician in commercial construction. He was a member of the Largo VFW. He is survived bytwo sons, Josh (Misty) Gore and Daniel Gore of Doe Run, two daughters, Susan (Chris) Minter of Llano, TX, Cindy (Norman) Ladlee of Livingston, TX, a step-son, Brian Phelps and a step-daughter, Bonnie Phelps, both of Nashville, TN, four brothers, John (Connie) Gore and Gary (Pat) Gore of Ste. Genevieve, Cecil (Diana) Gore of Farmington and Larry (Carol) Gore of Ironton, two sisters, Vesta Moon of St. Charles and Brenda ( Mark) Beard of Ste. Genevieve, nine grandchildren, a former wife and good friend, Sue Canterberry, and many other relatives and friends. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel Tuesday, April 1, from 1-2 p.m., with funeral services following at 2 p.m. with Minister David Mills officiating. Military Honors will follow immediately.
