Roger Boyer

IMBODEN Roger Dale Boyer, passed away April 5, 2017 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 60. He was born July 23, 1956 in Old Mines, Missouri to the late Joseph Patrick Boyer and Agatha Genevieve (DeClue) Boyer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Isabelle Boyer in 2011.

Roger attended schools at St. Joachim and Kingston. After high school he proudly served his country in the United States Army. His family will remember him for his wonderful gardening skills. Aside from his passion for gardening, Roger was happiest when he was spending time with his beloved grandchildren.

Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Penny (Fitzgerald) Boyer; a son, Matthew (Crystal) Boyer of Farmington; a daughter, Kassy (Richie) Troutt of Lesterville; seven grandchildren, Rhylan Gray, Cameron Boyer, Leah Barton, Reese Gray, Tyson Boyer, Laynee Troutt and Stella Boyer; seven brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church on Highway O in Imboden, Missouri. View the online obituary and share your memories at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
