Roger Allen Blum Sr.

*SERVICES RESCHEDULED FARMINGTON Roger Allen Blum Sr., of Farmington entered into eternal rest on January 27, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 85. He was born on July 7, 1936, in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Louis Franklin and Floy Edna (Minks) Blum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters. Roger is survived by his wife, Sharon (Marcrum) Blum of Farmington, his children, Roger Allen Blum Jr. of Farmington, Monty Glen (Remie Tobes) Blum of Farmington, Douglas Wayne Blum of Bonne Terre, Shannon Elaine Cary of Herculaneum, Gena Meyers of Farmington, and Mandy (Dennis) Christopher of Farmington, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Roger proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a member and elder for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He retired after many years as the service manager for Frankie Buick and was self-employed at various businesses in the area. He was a private pilot and an auctioneer. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 5:00 till 8:00pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 12:30pm until time of service at 1:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 709 South Henry Street, Farmington.
