Robert Mccullough

POTOSI Robert Glasgow "Bob" McCullough of Potosi, formerly of Farmington, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi at the age of 80 years. He was born on November 18, 1936 at Peoria, Illinois son of the late Theodore Otis and Dorothy Margaret (Hollowell) McCullough.

Bob graduated from Peoria High School in 1954 and went on to attend Eureka College, University of Illinois and George Washington University earning his degree in Economics. For many years he was employed as a government contractor working for the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis as a Special Projects Analyst and continued until his health forced him to retire. After retiring to Farmington, Bob enjoyed taking long walks, going to softball and baseball games, and attending Farmington First Assembly of God.

He will be missed by all of his friends at Bailey Street Manor, Harris Care Center, and Farmington First Assembly of God. There will be no formal public services, Robert will be laid to rest privately at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery. His friends are planning to hold a private memorial service at a later date. Memorials may be made to either the Knights of Cemetery Fund or Farmington First Assembly of God.
