Robert 'Bob' Gene Medley

FARMINGTON Robert "Bob" Gene Medley of Farmington passed away August 25, 2018 at NHC in Desloge at the age of 82. He was born October 27, 1935 in St. Louis to the late Hubert and Elsie (Crawford) Medley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Alice "Pat" Murphy. Bob proudly served his country as a United States Army veteran. He was the former owner of Medleys Ice Company. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing baseball with his sons through the years. Survivors include his loving wife, Elizabeth "Betty" (Elser) Medley of Farmington, sons, Mark (Beth) Medley of Farmington, Brent (Cara Hart) Medley of Farmington, two grandchildren, Chase Medley and Margaret Medley, special family member, Allaina Darnell (niece of Cara), nephews and many friends. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 29 from 5-9 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume at 7 a.m. on Thursday morning until time of service beginning at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
