RAYTOWN, MISSOURI – Robert “Rob” Clayborne formerly of Farmington, passed away January 3, 2025, at his home in Raytown at the age of 56. He was born in Fredericktown, Missouri on November 16, 1968, to Robert Wayne Clayborne and Judi (Byington) Clayborne who survive.
Rob was a 1986 graduate of Farmington High School. He worked at U. S. Tool, the Postal Service, and owned a cab company. Most recently he was employed in Lees Summit, Missouri for Ash Grove Cement as a transport driver. Rob enjoyed playing golf and shooting pool. He was an accomplished pool player who participated in tournaments. An outdoorsmen, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and owning two special corvettes. Lastly, he was the ultimate Chiefs fan who enjoyed living very close to the stadium.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, including his parents, Robert and Judi; sisters, Lisa (Jason) Hampton, and Lori (Larry, Jr.) Pyatt; nieces and nephew, Jessica (John) Shipman, Justin (Jessica) Hampton, Chelsy (Dav) Stefanko; great nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Blane) Maxwell, Kirsten Hampton, Keagan Hampton and Draven Stefanko; great-great nephew, McKray Maxwell; former wife, Dianne (Lovvorne) Vansyeenberg, and her sons Michael and Daniel Lovvorne who called him “Dad”; and Daniel’s daughter and Rob's special grand-daughter, Kinzy; special friend and companion, Margaret “Sissy” Bowling. His special pets Banjo, Jake and T. J.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at Marvin Chapel Cemetery on K Highway near Bonne Terre. Share your condolences and memories at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
