Rick Pothetos

Richard Wayne Pothetos of Farmington passed away on Friday, April 13, 2007, at Parkland Health Center, at the age of 49 years. He was born on September 7, 1957, at Bonne Terre, the son of Dorothy (McCallum) Pothetos and the late Robert Pothetos. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Melott. Rick was raised in Delassus and resided in Farmington until his passing. He was a long-time employee of AT&T. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and friends. He enjoyed life and listening to music. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Susan, a son, Nick Pothetos, two daughters, Courtnie Pothetos Lattimore and Natalie Pothetos and fianc, Mike Boyd, all of Farmington, two grandchildren, Emma and Ethan Lattimore, his mother, Dorothy Pothetos, his grandmother, Naomi Pothetos, a brother, Buddy Pothetos and wife Jayne, all of Farmington, two sisters, Linda Merseal of Scottsdale, AZ, and Marilyn Pothetos of Farmington. Many special nieces, nephews and a host of friends also survive. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday, April 16 , 2007. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday with a funeral service following at 11 a.m. at the Cozean Chapel. Burial will follow at New Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the St. Joseph Quilters or American Cancer Society.
