FARMINGTON Richard "Rick" Curtis Seipp, of Farmington, passed away November 17, 2018 in his home at the age of 75. He was born April 21, 1943 in St. Louis, the son of the late Floyd Edward Seipp, Sr. and Helen Dorothea (Wollmershauser) Seipp. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Edward Seipp, Jr. and a step-daughter, Donna Gion. Rick grew up in south St. Louis and at a young age he became an operating engineer. He was a proud fifty-year member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local #513. In 2004 he retired and enjoyed living in Farmington. He was a sponsored member of the Am Vets Post #113. In his spare time Rick enjoyed playing the guitar, riding motorcycles and tinkering around his shop building hot rods. His family will always remember his work ethic, his integrity and his love of family. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo Seipp; his daughters, Laura (Stan) Seago of Windsor, Colorado and Deborah (Loren) Blanksma of Bozeman, Montana; his step-daughter, Cathie Schnieders of Arnold, Missouri; five grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; a brother, David (Donna) Seipp of St. Louis; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law; three nephews and one niece. There will be no formal services for Mr. Seipp. The family will have a private interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. Louis. Share your memories and leave condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
