Rev. Orville Leroy Kinney

Reverend Leroy Kinney FREDERICKTOWN - Reverend Orville Leroy Kinney, 72, of Fredericktown passed away April 3, 2013 at his home. He was born October 9, 1940 at Knob Lick, son of the late Monroe and Opal (Canter) Kinney. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Georgia Hicks and Mary Jane Jones and two brothers, James and David Kinney. Leroy received his calling as a Minister of the Gospel at the Mill Creek Church of God and went on to pastor four churches in Flat, MO, Baxter, TN, Vandueser,, MO and Gideon, MO. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him including his wife Donna Lee (Eaton) Kinney, three sons Richard Leroy Kinney, William Bernard Kinney, and James Clayton "Cash" Kinney, three daughters Mary Elizabeth Kinney-Henson, Lisa Louella Kinney, and Jane Ann Kiepe; five sisters Billie Gonz, Kayo Medley, Linda Miller, Wanda Hambrick, and Pam Harp; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and many other relatives, friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory from 1-2 p.m. On Friday April 5th with a funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Reverend Darlene Williams officiating.
