FARMINGTON Christine Moses, of Farmington, passed away October 4, 2016 in her home at the age of 49. She was born in Bonne Terre on January 15, 1967 the daughter of Doris Grammond and Kenneth Hawkins, who survive. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Myrtle Jenkins and grandfathers, Marvin Jenkins and Art Grammond.
Christine was an avid mentor and advocate of the domestic abuse shelter, My Sister's Place. She had a smile that could light up a room and her kids, grandkids and pets were her whole life. She was a courageous survivor whose endurance was inspiring.
She leaves behind, in addition to her parents, her children, Levi Richard (Natasha K.) Bailey and Holli Nicole Farmer; grandchildren, Dominic Michael Hernandez, Landon Marcus Bailey and Ryland Danyal Bailey; a sister, Dennita "Dee" Parks; a brother, Jason (Heather) Hawkins; two nephews and one niece. Also surviving is a special aunt, Donna Ringo, beloved extended family, friends and special pets.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Memorial Chapel with Pastor Cody Royer officiating. Memorials, if desired, may be made to My Sister's Place.
