Rebecca Sue Gallagher

FARMINGTON - Rebecca Sue "Becky" Gallagher of Farmington passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington. She was born August 21, 1947 at Bonne Terre, the only child of Charlotte (Stroud) Fraser and the late George Vernon Fraser. Becky was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington. She was involved in various jobs and business ventures over the years but was most recently, along with her husband Pat, the co-owner and proprietor of the Old Time Flea Market in Farmington. She was an animal lover and had rescued several baby squirrels, dogs, and even a baby beaver. She enjoyed cooking for her family, camping, traveling, and was an avid reader, but above all, she was a dedicated, daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her including her Mother, Charlotte (Stroud) Fraser of Farmington, her husband Pat Gallagher of Farmington, two sons, Brent (& Angela) Gallagher of Farmington and Kirk (& Denise) Gallagher of Farmington, three precious grandchildren, Peyton, Dominick, and Penelope all of Farmington, mother-in-law Jaquline Gallagher of Park Hills, and numerous other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 4p.m. to 7 p.m. A celebration of Becky's life will follow at 7 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel. The family requests memorials be made to either the Farmington Pet Adoption Center or to the National Arthritis Foundation.
