DOE RUN - Raymond Eugene Hahn, of Doe Run passed away December 17, 2016 in his home at the age of 84. He was born July 16, 1932 in Mill Creek, Missouri to the late Leo D. Hahn and Gladys (Elders) Hahn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Juanita (Bayless) Hahn; brothers, Harold, Murl, Billy, Larry in infancy, and Gary Hahn; sisters, Mary in infancy, and Ruth (Hahn) LaBrot who was raised in his home, and two step brothers, Jim and Junior White.
Raymond proudly served his country during the Korean conflict in the United States Marine Corps. He worked for more than thirty years for Mississippi Lime where in the latter part of his career was a fuel truck driver in the mine. He loved to hunt and cut wood. He was a devoted grandpa and great grandpa to his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were his pride and joy. He traveled to lots of towns and states following their sporting events. He was also Noah's "bucking bull".
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Peggy (LaBrot) Hahn; step-son, Carl Bellew, Sr. and wife Timmy; three grandchildren, Carl Bellew, Jr. and wife, Missy, Eric Bellew and wife, Sara and Teresa Parson; great grandchildren, Noah, Kenlee and Ryker Bellew, Derika Amsden, Brandt and Bristol Bellew, Bailey Parson; his brothers, Clarence, David, Kenny and Roger Hahn; sisters, Clarice Walsh, Carol Russler and Mary Bean. Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends also survive. A special thanks to Kenny Hahn and Belinda Bivens for their compassionate help to the family.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 20 at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 8 p.m. Visitation will resume Wednesday morning beginning at 7 a.m. until the service time at 10 a.m. with Rev.
