Randy Gene Hedgpeth

STE GENEVIEVE Randy Gene Hedgpeth of Ste. Genevieve passed away at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis on August 26th at the age of 60. He was born in Springfield, Missouri on January 2, 1960 to Maxine (Warner) Hedgpeth and the late Eulis Dean Hedgpeth. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents who he spent a lot of time with. Randy was a painter having worked in construction jobs for many years. An extremely hard worker, he enjoyed working in the yard for hours at a time. He also liked watching NASCAR races. Randy liked to bake and he was known for his delicious homemade ice cream. His family remembers him as a great guy, a great husband, dad and grandpa who was always there for his family. Survivors in addition to his mother, Maxine, are his wife, Kathy (Cornman) Hedgpeth; his children, Dena Musgraves, Pam Kennedy, Steve (Monica) Schuerffius, Tabatha (Douglas) Unterreiner and Randa Hedgpeth; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren; four siblings, Ricky Hedgpeth, Cathy Carl, Debby Bills and Terry House; nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 31, from 5 7 p.m. Visitation will resume on Tuesday from 7 a.m. until the service beginning at 11 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Pastor David Parmley officiating.
