Ralph Moore of Farmington passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at Parkland Health Center, at the age of 89 years. He was born on January 9, 1919, in Farmington, the son of the late James Edward and Virginia Bell (Thomure) Moore. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Audrey Robertson, Alma Miller, and an infant, and three brothers, Carl E. Moore, Samuel A. Moore and an infant. Mr. Moore proudly served his country in the U. S. Army in World War II. He retired from Tech Manufacturing Co. where he was a Master Tool and Die Maker. Ralph was a member of the VFW Post 2184 in St. Louis. He adored his family and cherished spending time with them. His family loved him devotedly and will miss him with all their hearts. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Thelma (Williams) Moore, son, Gary M. Moore and wife Joy of Granite City, IL, granddaughter, Tara Rees of Pacific, MO, grandson, Ryan Moore of Bowling Green, KY, niece, June Wallace and great-niece, Vickie, both of St. Louis. Other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends also survive. The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2008. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. James Lacey officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
