Peighton Elizabeth Peterson

DOE RUN, MISSOURI Peighton Elizabeth Peterson of Doe Run passed away February 9, 2021 at the age of 5. She was born January 12, 2016 in Festus, Missouri to James and Victoria "Tori" (Snider) Peterson. Preceding her in death were her great grandparents, Carl Snider, Angelo and Terry Peterson; an uncle, Bobby Peterson; cousins, Brittany Gallez and Vincent May. Survivors in addition to her parents include her paternal grandfather, John Snider; her Paternal great-grandmother "Nana", Margaret Snider; Gramma, Sandy Ealick and PaPa Gale (TJ) Phillips; PaPa, Don and Gran, Pam Lucas; Uncles and Aunts, Andrew Snider and Zack Karl, McKenzie Blackford, Lydia, Emi and Rose Ealick and Christina May; Godparents, Adam and Kayla Cureton, and Terrance Hollingsworth; great uncle, Gary Dale "Bub" and Laura Thweat; cousins, Connor, Aliviah and Kiley Hauf, Greg and Melanie Will; Braden, Anthony and McKynlee Will; Josh and Melissa Hauf and Carla and Paul Will. Also surviving is Lee Ann Coleman. Peighton was someone who brought so much love and joy to all who met her. She was an "Angel on Earth". A descendant of the Nicholas A. Essner Family, she loved going to the big family reunions. She also loved movies, music, books, dancing, taking pictures, playing piano, sports, swimming and camping. Her favorite things were her dog, Charlie, playing super hero, JoJo Siwa, Hannah Montana, Frozen, unicorns, Squishies and stuffed animals. When she spent time at Nanas house she loved to carry around Daisey the cat like a baby which brought so much joy to her life. She and Nana often drank morning coffee together and before she left to go home they always did "pinky friends forever". She loved to sit on her Grandpas lap and comb his beard. Visitation will be held Friday, March 12, 2021 from 5 8 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. The family requests that from 5 to 5:30 be reserved for Peighton's class. Visitation will resume Saturday morning March 13 beginning at 7 a.m. until the time of the service at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Rev. Donn Adamson officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens. Memorials, if desired, may be made to any First State Community Bank in the name of the benefit of Peighton Peterson.
