Peggy Lou Buckley

Peggy Lou (Fisher) Buckley, of Farmington, passed away March 14, 2015 at the age of 83. She was born March 1, 1932 in Ironton to the late Louis and Illah (Moyer) Fisher. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ella Mae Lahay and Rose Mull, two grandchildren, Christopher Hrouda and Kristen Buckley. "Peg" as many knew her, grew up in Ironton and Flat River. She graduated from high school in Flat River and went on to marry the love of her life, Ken Buckley, on September 2, 1950. She always kept busy raising her big family and will be remembered as having a happy, friendly personality. Peggy always welcomed everyone to her home, both family and friends. Gardening was a favorite pastime of hers and she loved raising flowers. Her wonderful cooking will be missed by everyone. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Park Hills. Survivors in addition to her husband, Ken, include her children, Keith (Yvonne) Buckley, Kevin (Kim) Buckley, Kary (Kim) Buckley, Karter (Diane) Buckley, Klayton (Christine) Buckley and Penny (Chris) Hrouda; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandson; a sister, Shirley O'Brien and a brother, Jack (Pat) Fisher; and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Monday, March 16 from 5 - 8 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday morning from 7 a.m. until the time of the service beginning at 1 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Rev.
