Pauline Elizabeth Poff of Leadwood passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the age of 87 years. She was born on July 23, 1922, at Middlebrook, the daughter of the late Taylor Frog and Lillie (Waldran) Parton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer Poff, and dear special companion of 20 years, Tom Cruise. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Larry Parton and Gary Poff, four sisters, Judy Parton, Jeanie Parton, Ann Jackson and Dorothy Lollar, a brother, Jack Parton, and sister-in-law, Betty Parton. Mrs. Poff worked at Trimfoot Company and Biltwell Factory for many years. She also worked for a time at Parkland Health Center. She is survived by a son, Bruce Poff of Farmington, three daughters, Cindy Womack (Dennis) of Farmington, Donna Hall (John) of Myrtle, MO, and Sue Millstead of Farmington, fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. On Friday, April 23, 2010. Visitation will resume at 7 a.m. on Saturday with a funeral service at 11 a.m. With the Rev. Bill Scaggs officiating. Burial will follow at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery.
