Paul Sterling Yeats

FARMINGTON Paul Sterling Yeats, of Farmington entered into eternal rest on January 25, 2022, at Barnes Jewish Hospital at the age of 77. He was born on March 13, 1944, in New Madrid, Missouri, to the late Edgar Walter and Catherine (Butler) Yeats. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Charles Bryson. Paul is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara (Schulz) Yeats, his children, Candace (Sammy) Cowley of Bonne Terre and Brandon (Alice Henson) Yeats of Farmington, his grandchildren, Dylan (Tierra) Wilkins, Zach (Samantha Kelley) Wilkins, Sammy Cowley, Jr., Madison Cowley, and Peyton Cowley and honorary granddaughter, Michaela (Justin) Hines of De Soto, his great grandchildren, Grace Lewis, Alliana Lewis, and Korbin Wilkins, his siblings, Charles (Jan) Yeats of Florissant, Hazel Bryson of Dyersburg, TN, Betty (Paul) Clark of Bells, TN, Sandra (Pete) Morowski of Austin, TX, and Doris McCarthy of O'Fallon, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Paul proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He was an electrician for 35 years and retired from Ameren. He was a collector of many things and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 7:00am until time of service at 10:00am in the Cozean Chapel. Interment with full military honors to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
