FARMINGTON Paul "Reno" Hurst of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on October 27, 2021, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 77. He was born on August 15, 1944, in Fredericktown to the late Charlie and Hazel (Clark) Hurst. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Hurst, John Hurst, Harry Hurst, Carl Hurst, and Roy Hurst along with his brothers in law, Chub Moran, Jim White, Dale Cook, and Wendell Comstock. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Connie (Rawson) Hurst, his son, Brian (wife, Natalie) Hurst of Farmington, his grandchildren, Riley Nichole Hurst and Cole Wesley (wife, Shelby) Hurst, his sisters, Beatrice Moran, Rosemary White, Frieda Cook, Irene White, and Donna Comstock all of Farmington, his sisters in law, Ruby Hurst of Blodgett and Viola Hurst of Farmington, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Paul proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired in 2006 from Yellow Freight after 22 years of employment. He attended Bridge Community Church. Paul enjoyed woodworking, being outdoors on his tractor, watching birds, and gardening. His grand kids were the light of his life. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of Pauls life will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021, at 6:00pm at St. Francois Country Club, 4901 Hillsboro Road, Farmington.
