Patricia Kathryn Johnson

FARMINGTON Patricia K. Johnson of Farmington passed away March 11, 2021 in her home at the age of 89. She was born in Fredericktown on July 15, 1931 to the late Clarence W. Dollinger and Velma Josephine (Thompson) Dollinger. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Johnson in 2014; a sister, Cynthia Dollinger and her beloved uncle, Alfred Dollinger, who lost his life defending his country in World War II. A graduate of Fredericktown High School, Patricia married the love of her life, Donald Johnson, in April of 1954. They moved to Farmington in the late 1950s where she, along with her husband, founded Capitol Supply. She was a devout Catholic and had been a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church since 1959. Her favorite Saint, she would often say, was "Padre Pio". Patricia stayed busy raising her four children and helping with their company but she always found time to shop which was her favorite pastime. A perfect day for her was shopping and having lunch with a friend or family member. She also loved to travel and had enjoyed many adventures to various places. Survivors include her children, Michael (Anne) Johnson, James (Renee) Johnson, Donna (Keith) Ratliff and Ray (Sherri) Johnson; eight grandchildren, Jake (Kristen) Johnson, Zach (Christin) Johnson, Derek (Adrienne) Ratliff, Trevor Ratliff, Shelby (Jon) Comfort, Amy Gibson, Seth Johnson and Gracie Johnson; nine great grandchildren; and sisters, Jane Kinder and Carol Witcraft. Friends and family may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Monday, March 15 from 5 8 p.m. There will be a Holy Rosary service at 7 p.m. during the visitation. Visitation will resume on Tuesday in the funeral home from 7 9 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow beginning at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington with Father William Thess as Celebrant.
