FARMINGTON Opal Naomi Hull, of Farmington, passed away at Ashbrook Manor on Friday, December 22, 2017 at the age of 88. She was born January 5, 1929 to the late Francis and Gertrude (Crawford) Chapman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hull in 2004; a son, Walter Dale "Sonny" Hull; brothers, Bud and Chester Chapman and sisters, Nora, Ola, Dora, Beatrice and her son-in-law, Bob Schrum.
Opal was a Mother in the true sense of the word. She took pride in taking excellent care of her beloved family. She was well known for her cooking skills and her prize-winning desserts. Entertaining family and friends was something she loved doing and dancing was also one of her favorite pastimes. One thing Opal loved most was sharing her faith and her bright hope for the future.
Survivors include her children, Brenda (Timothy) Eudy, Kenneth L. Hull, Audrey Schrum, David (Rebecca) Hull and E. Wayne (Tricia) Hull; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Neoda Horn. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and her Jehovahs Witness family.
Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses at 1818 Hwy D, Farmington Missouri on Saturday, December 30 at 1:30 p.m. Memorials, if desired, may be made in Opals name to JW.Org. View the online obituary and share your condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
