Oliver Lewis Ragsdale

FARMINGTON Oliver Lewis Ragsdale, of Farmington, passed away September 8, 2017 at his home at the age of 78. He was born June 8, 1939 in St. Louis to the late Felix and Lola Ragsdale. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann (Welch) Ragsdale and a brother, Willis Ragsdale.

Oliver began working in a St. Louis printing business at a very young age where he learned the trade and worked his way up to eventually own the company. He retired in 1996 and lived in Arnold before moving to Farmington in 2007. An avid golfer, Oliver also enjoyed traveling.

He is survived by four children, Michael (Neray) Ragsdale, Debra Cullen, Carole Lorentz and Rich (Jeannette) Ragsdale; nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances and Lola as well as numerous other extended family members.
