Norman Detring

Norman Anthony Detring Norman Anthony Detring passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at the age of 85 years. He was born on Saturday, April 14, 1923, at Libertyville, MO, the son of the late Elmer Herbert and Clara Bae Anthony Detring. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. Tessereau Detring, and by a son, Ronald Norman Detring. He was a member of Sprinkler Fitters Local #281. He worked as a Sprinkler Fitter for Grinnell Corp. He was a member of the Farmington Christian Church. In his spare time he loved to travel. Surviving are two brothers, Ralph Herbert Detring and wife Dorothy of Farmington, and Gary Neal Detring and wife Gale of Bismarck, and brothers and sisters-in-law, Gene and Leanna Williams of Farmington and Jerry and Alma Lewis of San Antonio, Texas. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2008, at the at the Cozean Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held at the Cozean Chapel on May 18, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dale Berck officiating. Interment will follow in the Libertyville Christian Cemetery.
