Nellie Miller

Nellie Clara Miller of Farmington passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2007, at Mineral Area Medical Center, at the age of 96 years. She was born on April 8, 1911, at Goodland, MO, to the late John and Mattie (Anderson) Keith. In 1925 she was united in marriage to Willard Washington Miller, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Berneva Havard and Genell Miller, and a grandson, Keith Havard. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church at Black, MO, and she also was a member of Eastern Star. She was a hard working woman who passed her strong will on to her family. She was a blessing to all who knew her and she will be missed always. She is survived by three sons, Burk Miller of Farmington, Johnie Miller of Park Hills, and Rondel Miller of Davies, Florida, two daughters, Freda Huston of Farmington and Barbara Weeks of Herculaneum, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Several other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2007. Visitation will resume from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at Black, MO. A funeral service will follow with the Rev. Gary Mathes officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
