Nancy Kopchala

Nancy M. Kopchala, of Farmington, passed away January 4, 2016 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 77. She was born in DeSoto on September 25, 1938 to the late Wanda (Blum) VanRooy and Frank Kopchala.

Nancy was a long time employee of the Farmington Pants Factory from where she retired. She loved God, family and her country. She will be remembered for raising vegetables in her big gardens throughout the years. She always had dogs and very much enjoyed their company. Currently she had little Mindy, who survives.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Elena Z. Marler of Farmington; two granddaughters, Briana (Craig) Ross of Potosi and Hannah Marler of Farmington; and her brand new great-granddaughter, Avery Jean Ross, born January 6, 2016.

A memorial service will be held Monday, January 11, 2016 at Cozean Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family will accept donations to help defray expenses. View the online obituary and share your memories and condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
