Nadine Roberts

Nadine Roberts of Farmington passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at the age of 81. She was born September, 9, 1931 to the late William and May (Jones) Robinson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Kip Roberts in 2002; a brother, Lewis James Robinson and a sister who was not only her sister but her dearest friend, Jereldene Stude. Nadine grew up in Northwest Arkansas where she graduated from Bergman High School in 1947. She and her husband, Kip moved to Farmington in 1964 where Kip established the non-foods division for Wetterau Incorporated. Nadine enjoyed the outdoors and loved to golf and garden in her spare time. More than anything she loved being "Granny" to her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Jonny (Mrs. Mike) Belfield; a granddaughter, Jamie (Mrs. Chris) Barton; a grandson, Jason Bales and wife, Jessica; great-grandchildren, Braden, Jake and Chloe all of Farmington; a sister, Retha Keener of Harrison, AR and brother, Ted Robinson and wife, Pat, of Reed Springs, MO. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Thursday, February 7 from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday at 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Hillview Memorial Gardens with Mike Belfield officiating.
