Modonna Mae Arcand

BONNE TERRE Modonna Mae Arcand of Bonne Terre passed away on May 21, 2020 at Parkland Health Center in Bonne Terre at the age of 90. She was born in Eminence, MO on April 29, 1930 to the late Jake and Lillian (Becker) Martin. Modonna worked at the Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center in Farmington as a licensed practical nurse for over 20 years. She enjoyed reading and fishing. Modonna loved spending time with her family and adored her grand kids.She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Modonna is survived by her children, Joey (Des) Arcand of Bonne Terre and Karen (Jim) Vennard of Lake St. Louis, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, her siblings, Jerrel Martin of Farmington and Betty Martin of Overland Park, KS, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Charles Arcand, her children, Janet Morton, Robert Arcand and Benjamin Arcand, a grand daughter, Jacqueline Hampton and numerous siblings. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 6 at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery. Please adhere to social distancing and wearing a mask is advisable.
