Mildred Pauline Cox of Farmington passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at the age of 74 years. She was born on June 9, 1936, at Sprott, Missouri, the daughter of the late Roy Eli and Clara Alma (Welch) Harrington. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Cox, formerly of Bismarck, and a brother, Vernon L. Harrington of Farmington. Pauline was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Farmington and the VFW Post Auxiliary 5896. An avid outdoors person, Pauline loved hunting and fishing. She also had a passion for quilting and just spending time with her good friends and family. Survivors include a son, Brian K. Cox of Piedmont; two granddaughters, Jennifer Williams of Bismarck and Jessica Aufdenberg of Jackson; four great-grandchildren, Macy Marie and Drake Williams, Cole and Cameron Aufdenberg; nephews, Wayne Cox of LaCygne, KS; Rick Harrington of Farmington; Rod Harrington of El Dorado, AR; a niece, Paula Cassidy of Bonne Terre; a special friend, Jo Ann Horn as well as a host of close friends. A visitation will be held Thursday, September 30 at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday morning beginning at 7 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Glisson officiating. Interment will be at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington. Memorials may be made to the The Liver Center of St Louis University, in care of Dr. Bruce Bacon.
