DESLOGE Mildred "Mickie" Payne of Desloge was born on February 7, 1935 in Esther, the daughter of the late George and Kizzie (Underwood) Bone. She is survived by her husband, Louie Payne, and her three children, Keith (Karen) Hutson, Ginger Payne Williams (Ken Sheets), and Frankie (Maria) Payne; ten grandchildren, Matthew (Angel) Wright, Brian (Kim) Hutson, Andrew (Crystal) Hutson, Rachael (Jeff) Layton, Jeffrey Hutson, Curtis Hutson, Garett Williams, Jenna (Brad) Butcher, Danny Payne, and Javi Payne; Eleven great-grandchildren, Mason, Noah, Logan, Evan, Ava, Emily, Allison, Hallie, Karrine, Kai, and Gavin; and several special nieces and nephews.

Mickie was very active in the community. In the early 70's she opened Teen Town in Farmington before operating several other restaurants, including Desloge Inn for a number of years. She was also a Real Estate Agent/Broker for nearly 40 years and owned Payne Realty.

She was a member of the Farmington AMVETS Post 113 Ladies Auxiliary for 27 years and earned many awards for her countless volunteer hours to help veterans and the less fortunate. She ran the AMVET bingo games for several years in an effort to raise funds for the special Christmas parties for the employees of the MCII Sheltered Workshop and veterans living in area boarding homes; of which both projects were near and dear to her heart. She held each of the officer positions for the Ladies Auxiliary at Post #113, including President, and served as President and Parliamentarian of the State Association and held the office of NEC, a liaison between State and National Departments. She was honored to receive the White Clover award, which is the highest award in the AMVET State Auxiliary.

She had a deep love for Louie, her family and friends, and wished to thank all who helped with her accomplishments.
