Mildred Lennice Cerutti

FARMINGTON Mildred Lennice Cerutti, passed away May 2, 2017 at her residence in Farmington at the age of 82. She was born on January 23, 1935 at Rosalie, Nebraska daughter of the late Herbert J. and Zelma Irene (Fahrenholz) Clements. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband the Reverend Hugh Cerutti, a son Mark Cerutti, a brother, Floyd Clements and a sister, Hilda Stahl.

Lennice grew up in Nebraska. She attended Central Bible Institute where she met Hugh Cerutti and then married him on her birthday in 1956. They were blessed with five children, Lennice Marie, Lemora, David, Paula, and Mark. Lennice was a devoted minister's wife. Lennice and her husband were called to serve the Lord at churches in both Iowa and Missouri, moving as they were called by God to serve in the various locations. The last 38 years of their ministry were at Farmington First Assembly of God. Lennice worked unceasingly as a faithful servant of Christ. She was unfailingly giving, kind and took joy in doing things for others. Lennice was the director of the daycare at First Assembly of God for a number of years. She had a special bond with children and loved caring for them.

Lennice will be missed by her loving family which includes; three daughters, Lennice Marie Cerutti of Farmington, Lemora, (Mrs. James) Ramsey of Augusta Georgia, and Paula, (Mrs. Jesse "Jay") Asher of Farmington, a son Chaplain (Major) David Cerutti and wife Edith of Killeen, Texas; and daughter-in-law, Becky Cerutti of Farmington; grandchildren, Stephanie Cerutti, David (Sara) Cerutti, Angela Cerutti, Jonathan Cerutti, Joshua Ramsey, Whitney Ramsey, Hannah (Ethan) Parker, Leah Asher, Mac Cerutti, Travis (Nikki) Folkerts, Adam Folkerts (Nicole), and a chosen daughter and grandchild, Susan and Halle Harris; four great grandchildren, Samuel, Olivia, Jacob, Kylie and one more on the way; four sisters, Judith Raabe of Nebraska, Marjorie Boyer of Michigan, Kay Boyer of Arizona and Carolyn Franklin of Michigan; two brothers, Gary Clements of Michigan and Earl "Gene" Clements of Texas; many nieces, nephews and other extended family. Also surviving are many dear friends, and her much loved church family.

Friends may call on Friday, May 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Farmington First Assembly of God at 1803 N. Washington in Farmington. Funeral services will be held at the church on Saturday, May 6 at 11 a.m with Chaplain (Major) David Cerutti officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the AG Retired Ministers Fund.
