Mildred "Charlene" Goff

Charlene Goff of Farmington passed away January 2, 2015 at the age of 71. She was born August 22, 1943 in St. Louis to Ruby Jones and the late Charles Whaley. She was also preceded in death by her dad, Bernard D. "Beano" Jones and her father-in-law, Hubert Smedstad. Charlene was baptized 59 years ago as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Until the time of her passing she was active in the ministry. For forty five years she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She and her beloved husband, Bill were inseparable for all those years. Charlene was a talented artist who enjoyed painting and decorating. Foremost she was devoted to Jehovah God and her family. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, William H. Goff; three sons, Jeremy (Abbey) Goff, Wesley (Robin) Goff and Timothy Goff; two cherished granddaughters, Fiona and Penelope "Penny" Goff; her mother, Ruby Jones; her mother-in-law, Dorinda "Byrde" Smedstad; one sister, Alma (Cecil) Welker; a special niece, Kimberlee Welker; several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends. A memorial service will be held at the Potosi Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Saturday, January 10, at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the World Wide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses.
