Michael Hooker

FARMINGTON - Mike Hooker, of Park Hills, passed away April 1, 2015 at the age of 65. He was born May 8, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri. His parents, John and Wilma Price preceded him in death as well as his biological father, Paul Hooker. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, John K. and Tommy Price. After graduation from high school in St. Louis, Missouri he entered the U. S. Army proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War. For a time during his life he worked for Brown Shoe Company in many of their locations across the United States. For most of his career, however, he was a car salesman. Mike was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching all kinds of sporting events. He also liked playing pool and bowling. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Marie (Lancaster) Hooker; three children, John Hooker, Shelly Cunningham and Michaelene Mullins; three step-children, Ashley Sampson, Sarah Corcoran and Amanda DuVall; three grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; his step-mother, Ruby Hooker; four sisters, Lucy Cochran, Joann (Joe) Hauler, Patricia Striebel and Dianna Richards and a brother, Billy Price. Friends may call on Monday, April 6 from 10 - 11 a.m. with services beginning at 11 a.m. in the Cozean Memorial Chapel. Interment with full military honors will follow Monday afternoon at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis at 2:30 p.m. Memorials, if desired, may be made the American Heart Association in Michael's name.
