Michael Eugene Pirtle Sr.

St. LOUIS Michael Eugene Pirtle Sr., of Saint Louis, formerly of Ironton, peacefully passed away on April 7, 2022, at his residence at the age of 51. Mike was born on the 4th of July of 1970, to the late Florence Irene Nash and Robin Dean Pirtle. In addition to his mother, Mike was preceded in death by his firstborn daughter, "Candy" and his brother, Bobby McDowell. He is survived by his daughter, Angela (Tyler) Allen, his son, Michael E. Pirtle Jr., his sister, Mary Nelson, along with grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mike was a firecracker of a personality. He was a beloved friend to many. He enjoyed the great outdoors fishing and Elephant Rocks were great childhood favorites. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed traveling all over the country. Mike had his grandpa Elmo Pirtles gray eyes and was a Pirtle through and through.
