Melvin Loren Pulley

FARMINGTON Melvin Loren Pulley, of Farmington passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at his home in Farmington at the age of 80 years, 1 month, and 26 days. He was born on August 6, 1936 at Centerville son of the late Walter G. and Laura L.(Grammont) Pulley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Bernell Pulley, Bobby Pulley, and Tony Pulley, and four sisters Eufa Delaney, Joann Hodges, Byrtle Lewis, and Joyce Pulley.

Melvin was a Charter Member of the New Offenburg Baptist Church and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing and going to auctions.

He was a wonderful husband and a "Top-Notch" Dad and he will be missed by his wife of 60 years, Beverly Ann (Chitwood) Pulley of Farmington, his two sons, Steven (& Glenda) Pulley of Farmington and Bruce (& Kim) Pulley of Bismarck, grandchildren: Amanda Pulley (& Matt Schrum), Christian (& Perry) Cooper, Lauren Pulley, and Whitney (Eric) Cross, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers, John (& Hazel) Pulley of Centerville and Carl (& Lula) Pulley of Ironton, two sisters, Myrtle Lewis of Ironton and Lorraine Bates of Farmington, his best friend "Irwin" and numerous other relatives, dear friends, and neighbors.

Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with the Reverend Dennis Walker officiating. Interment will take place at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials, if desired, may be made to either the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
