Melinda G. Meador

FARMINGTON - Melinda Gail Meador, of Farmington, formerly of Crawfordsville, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Jefferson Mercy hospital in Festus at the age of 50 years, 11 months, and two days. She was born June 15, 1964 at Bonne Terre the youngest child of Joel Keith Meador, Sr. and Eleanor Cordelia (Crawford) Dittmer. She was preceded in death by two nieces, Carey Lynn Skaggs and Stephanie Michelle Moore. Melinda enjoyed horseback riding, line dancing, music, taking care of her cats and spending time with her family. She will be missed by her son Jeremy Emily of Farmington, parents Joel K. Meador, Sr. of Farmington and Eleanor C. Dittman of Farmington, a brother Joel K, Meador, Jr., three sisters Diane Elaine Wann of Farmington, Dana Jo Warren of Farmington, and Pamela Jane (& Aaron) Henderson of Crawfordsville, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Arrangements are pending under the care and direction of Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
