Melba June Hovis

FARMINGTON - Melba June Hovis, of Sanford, NC, and formerly of Park Hills passed away October 30, 2021 at the age of 90 years. She was born February 2, 1931, in St. Francois County, the daughter of the late Clarence and Elsie (Watts) Crocker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Hovis and a sister, Bonnie Henroid. Survivors include two sons, Floyd Jr and his wife Kathy of Leesburg, VA, Philllip and wife Susan of Sanford, NC and a daughter, Susan Meyers of Fenton, MO; two brothers, Darrell Crocker and his wife, Bobbie of Park Hills, Jerry Crocker and his wife Jean of Desloge, eight grandchildren, Alanna, Neil, Melissa, Lauren, Cole, Marissa, Freddie and Kelly, as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
