Mckenna Marie Templeton

McKenna Marie Templeton, 18, of Festus, Missouri, passed away, Friday, March 19, 2021 in Sainte Genevieve County, Missouri. She was born February 25, 2003 in Festus, Missouri, daughter of Brandon Rutledge Templeton and Megan Catherine Pratt. McKenna was a senior at Festus High School. She was very active in the band, softball, and teaching herself how to play the trumpet, ukulele, saxophone and the piano. Most of all she loved spending time with her friends, family, and her cats Cleo and Ace. She is survived by her grandparents, Deanna (Randal) Sackman of Festus, Missouri, Mark (Dana) Templeton of Festus, Missouri, Richard (Carol) Pratt of Omaha, Nebraska, her great-grandmother, Doris E. Pratt of Farmington, Missouri, James (Patsy) Templeton of Festus, Missouri, Gene Cooper of Crystal City, Missouri, her brother, Ryan Leimberg of St. Louis, Missouri, her sister, Isabelle Leimberg of St. Louis, Missouri, her aunt, Amanda (Charles) Escamilla of Temecula, California, her uncles, Mitchell Pratt of Sainte Genevieve, Missouri, and Ryan (Trish) Pratt of Crystal City, Missouri, her cousins, Tristian Jackson and Kyrian Jackson of Temecula, California, her boyfriend, Nate Carron of Festus, Missouri, her best friend, Cheyenne Dickens of Bonne Terre, Missouri, numerous great uncles, great aunts, other relatives and many dear friends. McKenna was preceded in death by her father, Brandon Rutledge Templeton, her mother, Megan Catherine Pratt, her great-grandfather, William S. Pratt, her great-grandparents, William (Marilyn) Rutledge, her great-grandmother, Rebecca Cooper, her great-grandparents, Mary K. (Harry L.) Boetler. Services will be held at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins, Festus, Missouri, March 25, 2021 at 7:30 pm. Friends will be received at Mahn Twin City Chapel, Festus, Missouri Thursday, March 25, 2021, 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Graveside services will be held May 21, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Farmington, Missouri with Pastor Stephen Constien officiating.
