Mary Louise Ward of Farmington passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010, at Presbyterian Manor, at the age of 77 years. She was born on August 30, 1932, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Norbert and Helen (Puscar) Cordes. She was a Farmington resident for more than fifty years having been employed as a secretary at the Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center where she retired in 1998. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington. In her spare time, Mary was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards and collecting angels. Survivors include three children, Virginia Manning of Farmington, Michael Ward and his wife Etta of High Ridge and Janice (Mrs. Danny) Pogue of St. Louis; grandchildren, Becky (Mrs. Jason) Nash, Crystal Ward, Matthew Ward, Natalie (Mrs. Michael) Seger, Harry Ward, Sarah Ward and Daniel Pogue; great-grandchildren, Garrett Nash, Kaila Nash, Ryan Seger, Tyler Ward and Eric Seger, step-grandson, Joshua Prater and a sister, Helen Skaggs. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, August 9 with Rosary Service beginning at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday from 7 to 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father James Dyer officiating. Interment will be at New Calvary Cemetery in Farmington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, 404 East Liberty Street, Farmington, MO 63640 or Life & Hope Fund of St. Luke's Hospital, Office of Development, 232 S.
