Mary Virginia "Ginny" Welch

Mary Virginia Ginny Welch of Pevely passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at her residence at the age of 68 years. She was born September 1, 1940, at Farmington, daughter of the late Hubert and Mary (Johnson) Coble. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Harsy. Ginny was a 1958 graduate from Leadwood High School and spent most of her life as a homemaker. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Robert Lee Welch of Pevely, three daughters; Tina (Duane) Allen of Festus, Rhonda Gordon of Johnstown OH, and Robin (Rusty) Louk of Delaware, OH, three sons, Jim (Robynne) Halbrook of Bonne Terre, Dennis (Lisa) Welch of Johnstown, OH, and Robert (Tracey) Welch of Heath, OH, three brothers; Clifford (Patricia) Coble of Dittmer, Everett (Kathy) Coble of Park Hills, and Steve (Mary) Coble of Union, MO, four sisters; Maxine Williams of Florissant, Gladys (John) Wilson of Potosi, Carol (Lonnie) Hill of Pevely, and Judy (Gervis) Eye of Potosi; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and other friends also survive. Friends may call from 12:30- 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 6, at Cozean Memorial Chapel with a funeral service at 2:30 p.m. officiated by Rev. Jeff Richards. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery.
