ARNOLD Mary Lou Eames, passed away December 28, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 87. He was born December 2, 1930 in Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri to the late E.J. And Hazel L. (Kennon) Boyd. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Eames, a brother, Dennis Boyd and an infant son, Jeff.

Mary grew up in Ste. Genevieve County before moving to St. Louis with the family where she attended school. In her younger years, she worked at Nettie's Flower Shop and Woolworths,

before staying home to raise her family in Arnold. The last seven years she lived with her daughter, Karen in Hillsboro. She was an avid oil painting artist and gave her paintings to many.

She was "Granny" to all of her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed the frequent visits from her great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Dixie. And most recently she enjoyed that Dixie painted her nails.

Survivors include her children, Sandy Coil (Jim), Jim Eames, Karen Bailey (Jack), and Jerel Eames (Tanya). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; a brother, J. Lee Boyd (Jessie), and a sister, Lois Boyd.

Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 5 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Pastor Chuck Hoskins officiating.
