Mary Frances Lamb of Farmington passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Parkland Health Center, at the age of 77 years. She was born on November 14, 1933, at Knob Lick, daughter of the late George M. and Ella M. (Sutherland) Skinner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Dalton Skinner, Glen Skinner, Lloyd Skinner and Don Skinner, and a sister, Eleanor Meyer. Mary was a life-long member of the Memorial United Methodist Church where she was an active member of the United Methodist Women. Prior to retirement, Mary worked as a bank teller for Mercantile (United Bank) for 40 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly her four grandchildren. Mary will be missed by all those who knew and loved her including her husband of 54 years, Lloyd Lamb of Farmington, a daughter, Susan Hedgcorth and husband Scott of Desloge, a son, Michael Lamb of Farmington, four grandchildren, Megan and Molly Hedgcorth of Desloge, and Ian and Eli Lamb of Farmington, a brother, Clarence Skinner (Sedy) of Herculaneum, and a sister-in-law, Naomi Skinner of Farmington. Many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Visitation will resume at 7 a.m. on Wednesday with a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Cozean Chapel with Dr. Rick Broadway officiating. Burial will be at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
