Mary Jane Brewer

Mary Jane Brewer of Farmington passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2010, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, at the age of 77 years. She was born on September 11, 1933, at Bonne Terre, the daughter of the late James Edwin and Clyo (Clark) Brewer. A lifelong resident of the Farmington area, Mary was a graduate of Farmington High School and Southeast Missouri State University where she received a BA and a BS in Education. She taught school in Farina, IL where she later retired. She was a faithful member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington where she did volunteer work. Survivors include two special cousins, John Edwin Sullivan and A. C. Sullivan, Jr. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Visitation will resume at 7 a.m. Wednesday followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Fr. Rickey Valleroy officiating. Interment will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington.
