Mary Louise (Elders) Hunt passed away peacefully at 70 years of age after a long battle with Alzheimer's on October 24, 2010 at Shirkey's Nursing Home in Richmond, MO. She was born on April 19, 1940, in Esther, the daughter of the late Gladys Jewel (Corcoran) Elders and Tony Elbert Elders. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Mae Elders and a grandson, Christopher Dean Parker. Mary Lou was a charter member of the Assembly of God Church of Farmington. We will cherish her memories and miss her greatly. She is survived by her husband of almost 38 years, John Richard Hunt, a daughter, Debra Sue Parker and husband Ted and their five children, a son, Kenneth Eugene Sales and wife Lisa and their five children, four sisters, Glenda Hahn, Norma Upchurch, Ella Francis and husband Lamar, and Charlotte Tidwell, a brother, Ray Elders and wife Sharon, and two great-grandchildren, June Carter and Declan Williams. The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2010. Visitation will resume at 7 a.m. on Friday with a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Cozean Chapel with Pastor Mark Upchurch. Burial will follow at Revelle Cemetery in Madison County.
