Mary Hosick of Farmington passed away on December 3, 2010, at Louisville University Hospital, Kentucky, at the age of 69 years. She was born on May 15, 1941, in St. Louis, to the late Amelia (Crep) and Joseph Hauck. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Franklin George Hosick Sr., a son, Kristopher Matthew Hosick, by a grandson, Jasen Thomas Hosick, by two granddaughters, Rebecca Amelia Gipson and Mindy Michelle Heaps, three sisters, Elizabeth, Catherine and Angela, and a brother, Joseph. Mrs. Hosick grew up in St. Louis, was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and attended St. Agnes School. After moving to Farmington, she attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mrs. Hosick enjoyed singing, playing bingo, crocheting and doing crafts of all kinds. She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Sandoval, Brenda Heaps (Delmar), all of Farmington, and Rebecca Santoyo (Doug) of Carmi, IL, two sons, Franklin G. Hosick Jr. (Nora) of Middlebrook, and Damon Hosick of Farmington, a sister, Rose Hensley (Clifford) of Arnold, thirteen grandchildren, Luke, Mark, Allen, Josh, Kenny, Destiny, Damon Jr., Katie, Alicia, Kristopher, Hayden, Mikayla and Robert Jeremy , a great-grandson, Deron and a great-granddaughter, Tyanna. Numerous other family members and friends survive. The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2010. A Holy Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation will resume from 7 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington. Interment will be at New Calvary Cemetery in Farmington.
