Mary Hobbs

Mary Lee Hobbs of Park Hills passed away March 17, 2008, at at her residence at the age of 80. She was born on June 1, 1927, at Boydsville, AR, to the late William Edward and Mary Adeline (Grogan) Rowton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James D. Hobbs, three brothers, two sisters, and a grandchild. She was a nurses aide and was a member of the Park Hills First Assembly of God church. She is survived by five children: Forest Haislip, of the state of Arkansas, Jim and wife Rosemary Hobbs, Lee and wife Sandy Hobbs, Loretta (Mrs. Fred) Rathburn, all of the state of California, and Clarissa (Mrs. Keith) Hafley of Park Hills; 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Friends may call from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 20 at the Cozean Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at the Three Rivers Cemetery.
