Mary E. Ragsdale

FARMINGTON Mary E. Ragsdale of Farmington, passed away suddenly on January 11, 2021 at her residence at the age of 82. She was born on August 13, 1938 in St. Louis to the late Herman and Elizabeth (Noll) Schott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gene Ragsdale, her son, Donald Ragsdale, her siblings, William (the late Jean) Schott, Charles Schott, Robert Schott, James Schott, John (the late Doris) Schott, Joseph Schott, Paul Schott, and Sheila (the late Charles) Francis. Mary is survived by her son, Jeff Ragsdale of St. Louis, MO, her granddaughter, Jessica (Jake Roderique) Ragsdale of St. Louis, MO, her great grandson, Jacob Roderique, her siblings, Herman (Dodie) Schott of Murphysboro, IL, Richard Schott of Kingman, AZ, Clara (John) Eveker of Orlando, FL, Susan (Rod) Painter of St. George, UT, and John (Karen) Anthonopoulas of Arnold, MO, her sisters in law, Geri Schott of Prescott, AZ, Ruth Schott of St. Louis, MO, and her special friend, Sharon Poole, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Mary was a wonderful and caring person who was always bubbly and happy and had a voice that could make you smile. She was very outgoing and loved sharing stories that made others laugh. Mary enjoyed creating stained glass items, quilting, reading, puzzles, cooking, going for walks, and dancing with her friends. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and abroad. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery in St. Louis.
